  1. --------------- INFO ABOUT REGISTERED PREVIOUS VERSIONS ---------------

  3. IMPORTANT: If you have a registered version of RomDoor v1.00, v1.01,
  4.   v1.10, or v1.11 then you must download the new version of the extra
  5.   utilities which run with v2.00 - v2.02.  Make sure you don't run the
  6.   following programs until you get an update.  If you have v2.0x then
  7.   there is no need to get the files.

  9.            FIXROM.EXE
  10.            ROMEDIT.EXE
  11.            CHKROM.EXE
  12.            WC2ROM.EXE
  13.  
  14. The registered utilities can be downloaded from Infinite Data Source.
  15. IDS's numbers can be found at the end of ROMDOOR.DOC.

  17. ---------------------  UPGRADING FROM v2.0x ---------------------------

  19. If you are upgrading from v2.0x then just unzip ROMD202.ZIP into your
  20. RomDoor directory overwriting all the files.

  22. ---------------------  UPGRADING FROM v1.1x ---------------------------

  24. If you are upgrading from v1.1x then simply unzip ROMD202.ZIP into your
  25. RomDoor directory overwriting all the files.  Next you will need to
  26. execute UPDROM with the 11TO20 parameter (UPDROM 11TO20).

  28. After you have run UPDROM.EXE you may delete it to save space.  Please
  29. read ROMDOOR.NEW for more information about v2.02.  Thank you for using
  30. RomDoor.

  33. -----------------  UPGRADING FROM v1.00 or v1.01  ---------------------

  35. If you are currently running RomDoor v1.00 or v1.01 you will have to go
  36. through a TWO step process.

  38. (1st) Type UPDROM 10TO11 at the DOS prompt and press ENTER.
  39. (2nd) Type UPDROM 11TO20 at the DOS prompt and press ENTER.

  41. You need to do this in a two step process since there is no conversion
  42. directly from v1.0x to v2.0x.  If you encounter any problems give me a
  43. call voice.  (MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU DO UPDATE)
